ROSIE, DOTTY, BABY ERIC & GRACE

Yesterday I met Eric. Eric is quite a character. He's seven weeks old and full of beans and cheekiness. His human mum, Rosie, assured me he was great to lead, loved being cuddled and would probably be a stand-up model. Eric definitely has a sense of humour and decided he had other ideas.

However, even when he wasn't going along with the original plan, he was still pretty photogenic, so we quickly changed the plan and let him do what he was happy doing. Which was mostly cantering around and showing off his airs above the ground. And hiding behind his mummy, Rosie's top eventer, Dotty.

But eventually, once he'd got the ants out of his very cute pants, he decided that Rosie was actually pretty cool and that he didn't mind kisses, scratche and cuddles. And isn't he just the most adorable little man?

Rosie's ex-racer, Grace, also did a spot of posing for us. What a sweet, beautiful mare.
