Harriette, Magic & Mika - Equine Photoshoot, Essex

HARRIETTE, MAGIC & MIKA

I spent a lovely, sunny afternoon with Harriette and her two, beautiful dressage horses, this week.
I'm absolutely in love with the colour of Magic. But unfortunately, Magic wasn't all that in love with me. In fact, he didn't really like anyone at all, other than Harriette. But after just a couple of months together, they have already established a bond that was clear to see. Look at the smile on his face for her. Trust me, I did not get one of those smiles. Lol. And I was gutted, because he's so pretty, I just wanted to cuddle him the whole time!

And then there was the very handsome Mika. He sure knows how beautiful he is. Look at him showing off, at liberty in the field. He was much more friendly, but also much more excitable! Two very different characters.
It was a great afternoon with lots of laughs, two gorgeous horses and great weather!

Sarah, Emma & Frankie - Equine Photoshoot, Kent

SARAH, EMMA & FRANKIE

We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather for my shoot with Sarah, Emma and Frankie, on Friday, at Sarah's beautiful home in Kent. We were also very fortunate to have access to a very colourful rape field, next door to the yard, which Frankie thought was very exciting. Thank you, also, to Sequence, Georgina and the doggies, for posing for us, too. What a lovely afternoon.

The babies of the family, Sequence (above) & Georgina (below)
were also very well behaved for their close ups

And lastly, Sarah's dogs did their share of posing, too.
The more the merrier!

Jackpot Stud - Equine Photoshoot, Essex

I had the pleasure of being invited over to Jackpots Stud last week. Claire Knowles breeds quality Knabstruppers and has the only competing Knabstupper stallions in the UK.

I had a great time photographing the very cheeky Pen (right), who knows exactly how handsome he is and is full to bursting with character, and the much more laid back Jackpot (left), who showed Pen exactly how this modelling lark was supposed to be done.

I'd like to wish Claire and Pen a special good luck, as they are off to the National Dressage Championships this week. Fingers tightly crossed for a spotty win!

What a kissable nose
